July 30, 2008: "Nelly Joins Energy Drink Company ZizZazz As Owner And Endorser"
Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly has joined the ownership team of the fast-growing energy drink mix company ZizZazz. The "Dilemma" hitmaker will also be the brand's new face. He will appear in its TV commercials, voice its radio ads, and become the spokesperson for the product's press participation and appearances throughout the coming months. He says, "I'm excited to partner with ZizZazz - the drink mix helps my energy stay high during rehearsals and performances as I gear up for the release of Brass Knuckles [his album]." "I didn't want to just endorse it; I wanted to be part of the growth of the company.
