She is best known as a member of the Spice Girls and for her marriage to former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy footballer David Beckham. Victoria is a pop singer, songwriter and fashion designer. Known also as "Posh Spice", a nickname from her days as a member of the Spice Girls. The former Spice Girl enjoyed dinner with friends at the Ithaca restaurant in Manchester and her party made its' way through twelve $1300 bottles of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs champagne. Victoria was treating her management team and 20 perfume consultants to a night out ahead of the launch of her new fragrance 'Signature'. Arnie Hira, owner of the Japanese restaurant, said: "Suffice to say that everyone said they had a great time at the restaurant and said they would definitely come again." Victoria and her guests ate a selection of fine dishes including Chilean sea bass, Wagyu beef and soft shell crab. Rumors circulated on the Internet on Sunday claiming the Victoria and David Beckham's vehicle hit a wall en route from their home in the French Riviera to Nice Airport. Reports added that their black BMW was spotted with a broken windscreen and other extensive damages at the passenger side. However, spokeswoman Cheryl Maisel told the New York Daily News that "there was no car crash." She said, "David and Victoria were driving a car that had been scratched the day before when it had been left parked at the airport - they were not involved in any accident at all. There was no police, no crash, no paparazzi chase, etc. - just very incorrect reports via Internet gossip sites." *** August 8, 2008: "Victoria Beckham And Eva Longoria To Open Business Together" Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria are reportedly set to go into business together. The 'Desperate Housewives' actress and former Spice Girls star are planning to team up to open a unique nightspot in Las Vegas. The venue will include a restaurant, Beso II - the second eatery in Eva's Beso franchise - and a casino. The pair's decision to turn half the business into a casino is said to be due to their interest in dominoes, after Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore introduced them to the game. A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Eva and Victoria are obsessed with the game and spend most of their evenings going out for a civilized meal and then getting stuck into a meaty tournament. But they realized there are no venues which provide dinner and focus on this new Hollywood craze. And now Victoria Beckham is the latest star to sign on to take part in the group's famously raunchy dance routines. Pussycat Dolls spokeswoman Alisa Boushey has confirmed the singer will be taking to the stage at the Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino in June. She tells British magazine Heat, "Victoria's been in talks with the Dolls for some time and will be joining them on stage. "She would have done it sooner, but it's a question of her busy schedule. The white Porsche Carerra is the same as husband David's navy blue model, but has her initials engraved on the hubcaps and headrests. She debuted the car in LA yesterday while driving home from a gymnastics class with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. *** March 10, 2008: "The Beckhams To Return To London In 2012" Victoria Beckham swears to return to her land of birth. Posh Spice says she and footballer husband David will return to Britain in 2012 after his LA Galaxy contract expires. A source reveals, "They are coming and London will be home for Victoria, Davod, and their sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz." The couple had said they are building their future in the U.S. but apparently, the famous duo are now eager to return to their country. They are set to buy a home in Chelsea in London for their residence. Victoria is reportedly excited to return to London so they can maximize their charity efforts. However, until David's $250 million contract with the soccer team remains in effect, the Beckhams would still have to make do in Los Angeles, where they have made A-list friends of the likes of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. I can't see us going back." *** February 27, 2008: "Victoria Beckham Promotes dVb Fashion Line" Victoria Beckham took a break from being a Spice Girl to once again promote her dVb fashion line at a department store in Toronto. The Spice Girls reunion tour ends tonight. Victoria was greeted by a crowd of screaming fans as she arrived at Holts Renfrew to promote her denim collection. It seems Victoria appeals to animals as well as she also had a four legged fan, a dog dressed up in as shirt who completed its ensemble with chunky gold bling round its neck which she picked up and held as she posed for a picture. Victoria wore a tweed jacket, a pair of tight faded dVb jeans, and tan boots to the store signing which was attended by lots of Spice Girl fans, some of whom had made signs reading �I Love You Victoria�. The dVb line was launched a few years ago, and has been very successful, it now includes sunglasses and handbags as well as the denim items.
